2.
What does the paving machine have to do with filing a patent application?
| The paving machine is
Larry Yate's invention that revolutionized the way asphalt is laid. In a single pass
it reclaimed the old asphalt and put down new pavement. It is also a metaphor for
the packaging and validation
security system that we employ to ensure that your patent application remains confidential
and secure. |
3. How Do I Get
a Patent?
To begin the process we
strongly recommend letting us do a patent search, after signing a Confidentiality
Agreement. The two contracts are combined in a single document that we must
exchange. Click on the blue button to bring up the form. Fill in the form and
send it to us. You can mail it, send it as an e-mail attachment, send in the body of
email by clicking on "Edit-Select all-Copy-Mail-New Message-Paste", load it in
the box on the Contact web page, or fax it. If this is
the first time you have requested a search, don't forget to to mail a check for $100,
shortly after sending in the form. The check should be made out to F. Rhett
Brockington, with a note on the memo line referencing the search. Allow 7
business days for the results. If the search is urgent, we'll accommodate your
needs. |
4. How Do I view patents sent to me over e-mail?
Emailed patented will be
sent as attachments. They are stored in either pdf or cpc format.
CPC format is similar to TIFF or JPEG, except faster. Download the program by
clicking below. There, of course, is no cost. |
Run the CPC Lite installation program.
5. How much do I save if I use Internet-Patents.com and file over the
Internet?
Exact figures will vary, but
we encourage you to surf to sites that will publish their rates and compare those with
ours published at Services.
Click here for a start. Of
equal importance is the fact that you can also expect a much
shorter turn around on searches. |
